iNet for Mac has just been released in the Mac AppStore. There are still quite a few features from the iPhone version missing, but we are working full time on the next update.

15 December, 2010

The iNet Pro 2.0.2 update that fixes the 2.0.1 update bug is available at the iTunes App Store. The Apple Review Team released the new version in an unbelievable short time - less than 24 hours. Thank you very much.

An iNet user can send a crash report from within iNet immediately after a crash occurs. Thanks to this build in crash reporting system we were informed within hours after the release of the 2.0.1 update that something did not work as expected. We want to thank all our customers who did send us the crash detection, and a special thank you to you guys who did send us additional information. As a result we could find the reason and fix the code base within hours after the release of the 2.0.1 update.

The BananaGlue team apologizes again for the inconvenience. This proves again that Murphys Law is correct .-)

Please update your iNet to the new version.

14 December, 2010

If you have stored scans that predate version 2.0 of iNet Pro (e.g. 1.7.1 and older) it might be possible that iNet crashes. We overlooked this in the current 2.0.1 update. Please apologize. To fix this immediately please delete all scans (Settings -> Database -> Delete all stored scans/networks… ).

We have fixed this already, an update is underway. If you do not want to delete the old scans please wait for the release of version 2.0.2.

Thanks to all who wrote us regarding this crash, and thanks for all your very positive and empowering reviews in the App Store.

We proudly announce the 2.0 release of the completely rewritten and enhanced new iNet Pro. Thanks to our customers for all their suggestions and critics.

More functions, faster, better stability - and very easy to use even for the unexperienced user. As suggested by a lot of our customers we added e.g. the possibility to change names and icons for devices as well as a compare scan feature. If you want to know whats going on in your network - iNet Pro is your guide.

We recommend all our customers to update as soon as possible to the new 2.0 version.

11 November, 2010

First major release of Control! Mac - Remote Control for Macintosh was released today.
Enhanced stability, better performance and - new - a spotlight search feature. You can find now nearly everything on your Mac via your iPhone and display it on your iPhone screen ( as long as the iPhone can display the document :-)), otherwise open it on your Mac remotely.

We enhanced the video streaming capability and added a help section. You can find our new Control! installation guide and answers to frequently asked questions on the homepage.

P.s.: You can now even send audio messages to the Macs you control with Control! :-)

The upcoming release of iNet 2.0 is coming close. We are looking for people who want to participate in the private beta. If you are interested, drop us an email. We will need the UUID of your iPhone/iPod Touch. You can find it via the “Device Info” screen of iNet.

We released version 1.5 featuring the following changes:

[Added] Fully rewritten scan engine for auto detection of hosts, it is now faster, more precise and generally just awesome
[Added] Set icons for wol favorites
[Added] Support for iPhone 4 Retina Display
[Added] Updated MAC address database for vendor lookup
[Fixed] Bug that could prevent WOL over internet from working
[Fixed] Bug that could prevent WOL over dynamic DNS from working
[Fixed] Local WOL is now possible without specifying an IP

Thanks to everyone who send in bug reports and suggestions. We have a 1.5.1 release in review that fixes the bug reporter giving false alarms. The scan engine is the same as in the upcoming iNet update. So far reactions have been very positive.
